Joshua "Big Notch" Howell has always had a creative mind. He is an avid Musician and has also been called a "Tech Guru". At the age of 5 he was introduced to computers by his father who ran a computer based business. As a New Orleans native, he developed a good ear for music at a very young age, which fed into has natural creativity and manifested into the creation of his Websites and Music.
He owned his first computer at the age of 10. At the age of 12 he started building his own computers and fixing for his friends and neighbors. At the age of 14 he explored the world of programming languages and starting writing simple programs.
At the Age of 15, his music journey began. A friend from California, who had a studio, introduced him to the world of music production and he fell in love with it. In the next few months, he bought his keyboard and other pieces of music equipment and began to create music of his own.
After finishing high school, he decided to open a small studio in his apartment so that he could get the engineering experience required to produce albums. The studio was funded by his side job as a Web Designer. But, everything came to a halt when Hurricane Katrina struck the city of New Orleans in August of 2005, leaving his apartment and studio in ruins.
After a few failed attempts in the music industry and a string of unfortunate events, Josh decided to get his life back on track by going to college. Currently, he is finishing up college with a degree in Information Technology and is perfecting his Musical & Technological skills.
