Born and Raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Big Notch was constantly exposed to various genres of music. At age 12 Big Notch was introduced to the music production industry by a well-established producer in Los Angeles, California. After soaking up knowledge from his west coast mentor, Big Notch started making beats at the age of 16. His exceptional ear for music was noticed immediately in his local community and he slowly began to gain popularity because of his talent.

In late 2005, a few months after Hurrican Katrina, Big Notch decided to do freelance production while continuing his college education. Since then, Big Notch has steadily been building a reputation online and throughout the music industry and plans on making big moves on the future. For a while, Big Notch was working primarily with Southern and West Coast artist. But now, he is extending his musical hand to help artists nationwide by providing quality production.
